Even if the world has been gradually falling into a widespread moral decline, even if you yourself have evil inclinations and cannot be a person you would like to be, God has not left us alone. Around two thousand years ago Jesus Christ put on a human form and came to earth. He lived a perfect and sinless life. He let Himself be captured, tortured and killed – and all that was done by Him in order to give us, people, the Solution!
He, God Almighty, gave you the best evidence of His love – He died for you. Since all of us are sinners, each of us deserves death – an eternal separation from God. Jesus Christ suffered on the cross instead of you!
Now you have a choice:
-
to acknowledge your guilt before God and accept His offer of free salvation,
-
to continue to live your life by ignoring Him, or by trying to come to Him on your own terms.
Your choice will have eternal consequences. If you come directly to Jesus to get saved, you will be given immortality – an eternal life without end. You will also be rescued from the sudden destruction which is to come upon the unbelieving world.
“and how you turned to God from idols to serve a living and true God, and to wait for His Son from heaven, whom He raised from the dead, that is Jesus, who rescues us from the wrath to come.” 1 Thessalonians 1:9b-10
If you stay indifferent to His offer, remember that your sins hang over you and you will have to pay the price for them by yourself. There can be only one verdict:
“For whoever keeps the whole law and yet stumbles in one point, he has become guilty of all.” James 2:10
Probably you deceive yourself by thinking that there’s no use in making haste, that you still have a lot of time to receive the salvation. However, take the following things into consideration:
-
Every day you lose precious time given to you by God “The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I came that they may have life, and have it abundantly.” John 10:10
You do not experience the fullness of life, although it is within your reach more than ever before. Remember that if you chose to sin, you will have to face the consequences of sin.
‘Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, this he will also reap.” Galatians 6:7
-
You do not know the moment of your death.
-
The end of God’s given time during which the salvation is offered as a free gift can take you by surprise and you will have to face the coming Apocalypse.
”But of that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, nor the Son, but the Father alone. For the coming of the Son of Man will be just like the days of Noah. For as in those days before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered the ark, and they did not understand until the flood came and took them all away; so will the coming of the Son of Man be. Then there will be two men in the field; one will be taken and one will be left.” Matthew 24:36-40
” For you yourselves know full well that the day of the Lord will come just like a thief in the night. While they are saying, “Peace and safety! ” then destruction will come upon them suddenly like labor pains upon a woman with child, and they will not escape.” 1 Thessalonians 5:2-3
Remember that you risk it all at your own wish…
