MegaChurch for Poland

Contemporary Poland is a post-Christian, half-pagan country. Churches have proven to be ineffective in their efforts. Especially Polish elites, Christian in nothing but name, know neither the Bible nor God. Having been deprived of God’s blessing for the last 400 years, we’ve suffered numerous defeats, although five hundred years ago Poland was the largest country in Europe. Then, along with the Catholic Counter-Reformation, came a number of disasters: a Swedish invasion of Poland in 1655-1660, wars with Cossacks, the fall of the state and degeneration of the gentry, the partitions of Poland, several lost uprisings, the hecatomb of World War II and decades of Soviet occupation to boot. Allegedly a free country, Poland is still unable to shake off the remnants of communism and Poles have to live under bureaucratic and fiscal oppression which has made millions of Poles emigrate. If we don't implement God's solutions, Poland will cease to exist. This rescue mission can only be accomplished by the MEGACHURCH OF JESUS CHRIST!

A tool for the Great Commission in 21st-century Poland

And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.”Matthew 28:18-20

Jesus' goal is to change nations through changing individuals. Jesus died on the Cross so that you could live a new life. Since Adam and Eve's sin everybody has been born separated from God and with an inclination to evil. Had God not sent miraculous rescue, people would have ended up in eternal Hell. Today Jesus is standing and knocking on the door of your heart (Revelation 3:20) and He wants to offer you forgiveness of all of your sins, including those you will commit. He also wants to change your heart so that it could long for good and do good things. In the Bible, such turning to Christ for salvation (that is rescue from Hell) is called a new creation:

Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.2 Cor 5:17

People who have been transformed by Jesus form God's families and churches. A church is not a building or denomination, but a living community of people recreated by Jesus Christ who meet with each other so that they could fulfil His aims. When there are enough churches obeying Jesus, social and political changes take place in a nation. The moral level of both believers and unbelievers rises and people become wiser and more independent in their thinking. Also, people start to realize God's goals that He has for every nation and, consequently, they start to feel co-responsible for their country. Only in such circumstances are new elites able to grow and transform a fallen country into a Christian republic. The Great Commission for a nation is thus fulfilled and the nation is able to become a mission nation that can preach Christ to others. The greatest example of such a transformation so far has been the United States of America. Such a plan has been recently effectively introduced by South Koreans. Just a hundred years ago they were a spiritually backward animist nation. It took South Korea only two generations to make a mark as the most powerful Christian nation in Asia. The country is now among world economic leaders and, with the help of the USA, is able to face serious military threats posed by the communist China, North Korea and Russia. What's more, after the USA, South Korea is today the second largest missionary country in the world, if the number of missionaries is taken into account.

If we want to put Jesus' plan for Poland into action

• Understand the Good News about the free salvation in Jesus Christ.
• Understand how getting saved affects the lives of individuals, families and, consequently, of the whole nation.
• Understand the culture and history of our nation as seen from God's perspective.
• Use modern technology to spread the Gospel.
• Permeate Poland with living Christian churches.
• Prepare God's leaders for such roles as those of pastors, authorities in different fields or politicians.
• Have one or several political parties that would include God's aims for nations in their political programmes.

MEGACHURCH is a project aiming at preparing Christian pastors for Poland, permeating the country with biblical churches and raising such socio-political elites that will be able to lead our country from paganism and a socialist state to a Christian republic. This is the only way in which we can regain God's blessing that we used to enjoy under the Jagiellonian dynasty in the 16th century, the Golden Age of our history.
