In the beginning of March, we published an evangelizing tract titled “Coronavirus. And Now What?” It is now available in English, Italian, Russian, and German. It has reached a total of 1.2 million people. We also created an animation of the tract, which has been viewed by over 500,000 people. In addition to Polish, it is available in English and German.

We moved to our new location just in time. Our previous headquarters were situated in the city center, right next to an infectious disease hospital, where sick residents of the entire voivodeship have been transported to. We did not want to put the members of our editorial team at risk. We reoriented our church’s functioning entirely to an online system. We were able to organize two large conferences with our international guests from Israel and the USA over the Internet. Praise God! We were prepared for that several months in advance, so this modification did not cause any problems to the members of our Bible groups and technical crew. Today, we help other churches to implement similar systems.

We have been receiving a lot of feedback from people thanking us for our call from last month to stock up before the impending epidemic.

Two weeks ago, we launched a new daily show “The Bible in the Plague Time.” Typically, about 500 people watch it live and it is viewed about 3000 times within the next 24 hours. As part of our national Bible reading, we are studying the Epistle to the Philippians. Many people tell us that this epistle – written by the Apostle Paul from prison – gives them exceptional comfort during the coronavirus pandemic.

Due to limitations, damages, and losses in connection with our church activities as well as suffering and affliction of our members, the New Covenant Church of Lublin decided to send a pretrial document to the Communist Party of China demanding an acknowledgement of Chinese communists’ responsibility for the spread of COVID-19 pandemic.

At the initiative of Hanna Shen, our correspondent from Taiwan, in the middle of March, we opened a petition on the White House webpage asking President Donald Trump to hold the Chinese government accountable for the coronavirus. We have time till April 15 to collect 100,000 signatures. So far, we are at just over 92,000: https://petitions.whitehouse.gov/petition/petition-president-donald-trump-hold-chinas-government-accountable-coronavirus

Solomon Yue, vice chairman and CEO of Republicans Overseas; General Robert Spalding, former adviser to President Trump; American journalists: Jack Posobiec and Jan Jekielek; and journalists from Taiwan, Japan, and Hongkong, are among those who have supported the petition.

We are recommending the newest interviews with General Robert Spalding, Jan Jekielek of Epoch Times and Solomon Yue.

Our position on the scandalous decision by the organizers of the International Chopin Piano Competition to classify Taiwanese pianists as natives of communist China was commented on by President Donald Trump’s son, Eric Frederick Trump, who wrote: “The Trumps are with you.” The competition is subject to the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage governed by Law and Justice (the ruling party). Here is an English version of the statement:

At the end of February and the beginning of March, Pastor Paweł Chojecki and other Polish pastors visited Israel. Pastor Chojecki visited Jerusalem Baptist Church and Pastor Al Nucciarone. One of the fruits of this trip is a new show, “Pastors’ Forum,” where we discuss ways of reaching Poles with the gospel.

Thank you for your prayers for our church’s other mission groups. In the beginning of March, they returned safely from the USA and the UK. A delegation from our church and our Bible groups in the US and Canada met with Dr. Terry Mortenson at the Creation Museum in Kentucky.

Last month, we were able to conduct an interview with Christian ladies from Iran, who had spent 9 months in the Evin prison. An Islamic judge sentenced Maryam Rostampour and Marziyeh Amirizadeh to death, but they have never denied Jesus.

For the last month, we have been praying for Poles facing the coronavirus epidemic to recognize their need of God’s care and help, for the safe return of our mission crews, for a development of new shows on our TV, and for Christians from other churches to support more decisively our media and education project. As you can see in our newsletter, God has wonderfully answered all our requests! Thank you very much for all your prayers and support.

Prayer Requests:
• For health and strength of the TV editorial team that is working in a very limited capacity.
• For wisdom of the leaders of free nations, especially of Poland, the USA, Israel, and Taiwan, to be able to fight wisely against the Chinese communists’ biological weapon attack and to devise a plan of suitable response.
• For success in collecting signatures for our petition to President Donald Trump and for the President of the USA to respond to it officially.
• For a rich spiritual harvest of the evangelizing shows on our TV.
• For wisdom in other churches concerning proper behavior during the plague.
